On our way back home, first we had an hour long train travel to Helsinki and after that few more hours before the ship to shop and do some sightseeing.
What to do in Helsinki u may ask?
I would reccomend u to :
* shop in the small design stores - yes, they are much more expencive than H&M and the other main shopping stores but it's nice even just to do some windowshoping
* go to one of the cute caffes they have well ... everywhere
* forget maps and GPS , just start walking to a random direction - Helsinki is gorgeous
* notice the locals - no, I don't mean that u should stalk them but just look around. In Helsinki they have so many different people living in there and it's really interesting to see how different and interesting they all are
* go to the museums - sure, it may sound booring but they are actulley really fun and interesting. If u are not interested about art than a bit outside of Helsinki there is a huge science park called Heureka - it's really fun and intesting in there
* if u still have some time and money left than go to Linnanmäkki (amusement part) - it's quite near to the down town and it's really fun in there
